Have you installed the Canon software and drivers included on the CD and followed the instructions included with the printer?

Hello billlong.

Unfortunately, the MP560 does not have the ability to send or receive faxes. This unit can only print, scan or copy.

As an alternative, you may want to consider scanning the document and saving it to your computer. Once this has been done, you can email the image to your desired party.
