TS704 cd print error

I set up my printer to print onto cds, and I have checked the procedure a dozen times, but it gives me an error code, telling me that that I must pull out the paper returing tray fully! In the procedure, it tells me to push the paper returning tray in fully, then, when prompted, push in the tray holding the cd and match up the arrows! If I pull out the paper returning tray I can't place the multi purpose tray! Can anyone help, as I emailed Canon, but they have not responded!

The error I get is support code 1259

So then how do I print on to my CD? I can't print my CD with the paper output tray extended!
