Using PIXMA 925 bought in Germany in the U.S.

Hello,

I bought a PIXMA 925 in Germany because I saw there were compatible U.S. cartridges cli-551/cli-251. However, my printer will not recognize the cli-251 cartridges. Is there a region setting in setup?
