MX410 Acrobat Error Selected Scanner not Found

Acrobat VI used to work with my MX410. Cannot scan using Acrobat anymore "selected scanner not found". Removed and reinstalled Acrobat and Canon driver/software, even put the path to the twain_32 driver in enviroment PATH, still the same error using MX410 and MX410 WIA for scanning.

Forgot to add scanner works fine in all other programs. OS is Windows 8.1 x64 with all updates. From Googling the error it seams it is a driver issue.

Hi okidave,

Do you have access to a later version of Adobe Acrobat that you can use to try and scan with to see if you still experience the same issue?
