    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an error that I can't figure out how to fix.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hp Laptop with Windows 8.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Printer Canon Pixma MX410&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection is via USB&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I Installed the latest drivers and the Canon Quick Menu so I can scan multiple pages to PDF.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everything works well, except for the scanning part.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I go to the Canon Quick Menu and use the Auto Scan feature, an error code comes up:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canon MP Navigator EX&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There was an nuknown error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Code=19&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The same thing hapens when I click the scan button on the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scaning works when I initiate it from Paint, but I need to scan multiple pages in PDF and don't have time to deal with JPEGs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I installed and reinstalled drivers and no change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I looked at the device manager and under Imaging devices, all is well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Don't know how to do the registry fix.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this is plenty of info. Any help is apreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dan&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Dan46,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In addition to reinstalling the drivers and the Quick Menu, please also reinstall the MP Navigator program using the latest version from the Canon USA website. &amp;nbsp;You can also try to use another USB cable to connect the printer to the computer to see if this will resolve the error. &amp;nbsp;Please be sure to plug the cable&amp;nbsp;into a USB port on the back of your computer instead of the front USB ports. &amp;nbsp;If you still experience difficulty, we ask that you please&amp;nbsp;call or email us at one of the methods on the &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt; page for further assistance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
