Scanner not working on MX920

I have an MX920 printer and the scanner has stopped working but it still prints any ideas on how to fix this?? Wonder if i re installed the drivers it would help??

My scanner only works to a flash drive, but not wirelessly. I can find no documentation that states that this is the way it is meant to work. In any ase, very cumbersome.
