Auto duplex printing on MX922 won't double side print PDF's that my old MP560 did. what can I do?

My MP560 got the dreaded B200 code, meaning get a new printer. Hesitated to buy another Canon, but the MX922 had all the features I was looking for. Easy set up, but first problem was printing from the internet, 922 wanted to use paper in the top tray not the letter size in lower try. Had to save doc. as PDF then print that, 560 did this without any extra work. Auto duplex is way to complicated and haven't got it to work yet. 560 duplex print was selected from print dialog box. Anyone have any helpful suggestions. I am thinking of returning the printer.

I also had a problem doing 2 sided printing from a PC Word document.

I kept getting a message that my paper size was not correct.

I finally went into File - Page Setup - Paper tab

and saw that I had the paper set up to print on 8 1/2 x 11.2 in order to get one more line on the paper.

This always worked fine until I got my new Cannon MX922 and tried to do 2 sided printed. It was

reading my 11.2 as the wrong size paper. When I returned it to 11, 2 sided printing worked just fine.
