    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Sandra_BCI.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know that being unable to scan is frustrating and I will be glad to assist you.&amp;nbsp; However, I would like to&amp;nbsp;ask a few questions, if that is okay.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;How is the printer connected to the computer?&amp;nbsp; Is it connected directly with a USB cable, with an Ethernet cable to a router, or wirelessly over your network?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;How were the drivers and software installed on your computer?&amp;nbsp; Did you use the installation CD-ROM that came with the machine or did you download the drivers from the Canon website?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I look forward to your reply.&amp;nbsp; Should you need immediate assistance, please contact us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;mf 8380cdw scan &amp;amp; tool box 4.9 will not work with windows 8.1; I have done all I know with drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated etc. With the Tool Box software I have tried troubleshooting and compatibility tests and fixes. It will work for a while and then it won't. Gives a message that an error occured and sending a report to Windows.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
