MX452 not printing wirelessly

It only works when connected by wire. Without the wire, it keeps on displaying "Printer not Responding" on the pop out window that displays printer status, despite the little printer selector on Word saying its ready. Anyone have any idea why?

I've checked it, and it is connected to my wireless router.

Windows 8, 64 bit, 2.4 Ghz, i7

If I don't plug the USB cord in, the Printer does nothing, then tells me its not responding...

And..... now its suddenly connected again after leaving it plugged in over night. I have no idea why.
