      <title>IP7250 print head error</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;My IP7250 has suddenly started reporting a print head error, is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to replace the print head?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Moderator:&amp;nbsp; my third message on this board here.&amp;nbsp; Three people over past 3 days having exact same problem 3 different Canon printers.&amp;nbsp; Print Head Installed on printer not correct one.&amp;nbsp; that's first message I got.&amp;nbsp; How could I have the wrong one?&amp;nbsp; Did you have a recent s/w update that put the wrong update on our printers?&amp;nbsp; Either that or we all have pretty lousy printers that the print head collapsed basically at the same time for all of us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just found this later on in this series of messages:&amp;nbsp; So if the print head is actually damaged, and you buy a new one for your device if it's an MG series, this is where to go to find out how to change it.&amp;nbsp; Doesn't seem difficult but I wonder about so many lately getting a damaged print head error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article to remove the printhead from your PIXMA iP7220:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART142045" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART142045&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you continue to have difficulties, please contact our support group using the following link:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://canon.us/ContactLI" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"&gt;http://Canon.us/ContactLI&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class="UserSignature lia-message-signature"&gt;Did this answer your question?       <description>&lt;P&gt;unfortunately print cartridges are stuck on left side and in this way the instructions did not match what I could see.&amp;nbsp; When I pulled down a door in front, it appears to be to print dvd/cds.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
