topic (SOLVED)Easy Photo Print 4.5.0 for OS-X 10.9.1 and MX 892 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

SOLVED: the issue pertains to incorrectly loading the "AirPrint" driver when adding the printer. See the attached link to an Apple support forum. The application now works fine for me.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4952652

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The latest version of Easy Photo Print 4.5.0 will apparently not run on my MacBook Pro and OS-X 10.9.1 with a network attached Canon MX 892.

The Canon download page indicates that is IS supported.

When launching the app, the following message appears in a box...

Can someone verify this is a valid error box or should it be ignored? I might add this printer worked on a previous version of the firmware, as well as a previous version of the Easy Photo Print application. As I recently updated the printer firmware (and lost the Ethernet as a result) I also updated the EPP application.

I probably should have updated nothing - this is very frustrating.

thanks
