The MP160 is not supported on Windows 8 operating system. If you wanted to consider it, you are eligible for the Canon Loyalty Program. This program is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
