Hi There

I currently live in Thailand where I have purchased a canon MG3170 Printer. Needless to say but the printer pfreferences etc etc is in the Thai language. Can you tell me how I can change all of this to the English language.

Hi try next

1) checked at Language bar setting

2)Try to install new printer then select english US

3)try check control panel --> Regional and Language Options (IF) you are facing same problem with other tabs on windows.

4)You mean to say printer options/preferences in Thai language only or OS also?

5)Uninstall the printer software plus driver _Go to the printer website and download/install the English version of the driver.

6)download Quick Start guide (pdf file) from the Canon site for your printer model.

Hi Thanks for that. I have now sorted it. Basically as you say get rid of the asian software and reload with the English version . . . . . ! Everything now in English!
