    <description>&lt;P&gt;MP 500 printer - works fine in Windows 8 but the scanning function MP Navigator does not - loads but the scan fails (does not even start).&amp;nbsp; Any ideas how to get it working or is there a third-party program that would work?&amp;nbsp; Have tried compatibality mode etc.&amp;nbsp; Nothing. &amp;nbsp; Is my scanner obsolete for Windows 8?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
