    <description>&lt;P&gt;This error appears to be related to the installation of the TWAIN drivers and not the Acrobat software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Drivers for Windows 7 and 8 are not available for this model. While considering the desire to provide the best possible support for Canon's current products, Canon must make decisions on which products to support when new operating systems are introduced. These decisions are generally based on the age of the product and the number of product estimated to be still in use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since your device is not supported under the current operating system, you are eligible for Canon's Loyalty Program.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;Hi&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;I've a CanoScan LiDE 30 that still works just fine. The install disk is Ver 1.02 which uses &lt;FONT size="2"&gt;Adobe Acrobat 5.&lt;/FONT&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but &lt;/FONT&gt;I'm still getting &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;"Unable to open file"&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;"This program has known compatibility issues" .. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;"twain .."&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Comic Sans MS"&gt;How can I update the Acrobat 5 to be compatible with my current laptops? Is this the problem?
