    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying find the download for the Navigator EX 5.1 for the MX892&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Where can i download the software so i can use the scanner&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am using windows 8.1&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just bought two windows8.1 laptops for my home/business.&amp;nbsp; I use a Canon MX892 wireless printer/scanner.&amp;nbsp; They print fine but WILL NOT scan to either new PC.&amp;nbsp; Scan works fine on my old VISTA.&amp;nbsp; I have downloaded the software (MP Navigator EX 5.1, etc.) and I did take note of the Windows 8.1 64 bit - it is correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I click on the Canon Quick Menu the Scan line is blank.&amp;nbsp; When I try to Scan using the buttons on the printer, it scans, but will not send it to my new PC, only my old VISTA and USB are options.&amp;nbsp; The Preferences dialog from Quick Menu is blank for scanner and I can't select anything or type anything.&amp;nbsp; I have enabled sharing and bi-directional support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help.&amp;nbsp; I have read everything online I can find and no luck.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Windows Scan works but not to PDF so that is not an option.&amp;nbsp; I need PDF.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any other freeware that would work for making a PDF?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello middlejs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In order to scan, the IJ Scan Utility and IJ Network Scan Utility will have to be set up properly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; On your keyboard, press the 'Windows' key.&amp;nbsp; This is usually on the lower left corner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Begin typing Canon IJ Network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Go to Canon IJ Network Scan Utility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Open the Canon IJ Network Scan Utility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once this has been done, a small scanner icon should appear near your clock on the bottom corner of the screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Next, follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Open the Canon IJ Scan Utility on your Desktop or the Canon Utilities listing of the Start Menu.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Click Settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Click the General Settings tab on the left.&amp;nbsp; The icon resembles tools.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; In the Product dropdown menu, select the Network version of the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Click OK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once this has been done, try scanning from the IJ Scan Utility to test the connection.&amp;nbsp; Then try scanning from the operator panel of the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If these troubleshooting steps do not work, feel free to call us at 1-800-OKCANON.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi jt2younj0,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The latest version of MP Navigator compatible with the PIXMA MX892 can be downloaded from the Canon USA website &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx892/pixma-mx892#drivers_downloads_tab" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;. Once on the page, please do the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" field is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system. Please note that you may need to scroll up or down in the list to select your operating system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Next, please click on the box labeled "SOFTWARE", locate the MP NAVIGATOR program file, then click the SELECT button to the right of the filename. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear; please click on that button to start the file download.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.
