MX-882 suddenly printing blanks. No apparent maintenance problems - help.

I've had my MX-882 for several years with no problems. Then suddenly today, nothing prints out. It sends to print as if everything is normal, but blanks come out of the printer. I tested for cleaning - said I didn't need cleaning - cleaned anyway - no changes. Still printing blanks. Ink is full - what has happened????

Hello.

For testing purposes, please perform both a black and color copy directly from the printer itself. Do both copies come out okay?

If so, the issue may be related to the program that is currently being used to print. Please try using a different program to test the unit.

Unbelievably, it was a bad black cartridge!
