      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi jimcanoe,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First, check for anything that may be jammed inside the printer (paper or another object like a pen or paper clip). &amp;nbsp;If the printer looks clear, follow these steps to reset the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Turn the printer off with the Power button&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Disconnect the data cable from the printer.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Turn the printer back on.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the error returns, then the printer will need to be serviced.
