Are you able to print from other programs? What error occurs when you attempt to print from Safari?

This is the online manual, designed to be navigated via clickable links, which is fine as far as that goes but near useless as a printed reference (no page numbers, index, or fixed order) --AND it is only for print and copy, not for fax and scan.

Canon has long had a habit of letting down great products by insufficiently thought-out manuals and software.

I went to the link and downloaded the file. However, it is an executable not a pdf. What's up with that?

Downloading may work really good for the savy computer users but certainly is not for me!! Just send me a manual. But only if the manual has a troubleshooting section for scanning.

Your link downloads an .exe file. Clicking on it immediately downloads some stuff to somewhere in my computer, but it goes by so fast that I can't read where it's going, let alone read the filename so I can search for it.

Can somebody tell me what format things have to be in to print from a flash drive. It's obviously not Microsoft Word or adobe pdf . Also if I don't have WiFi why won't it print. I have the cable hooked up.

The MX922 can print most PDF files from a USB flash drive.

I had the same download experience. The "loader" .exe program executes, and I could see a "progress" bar display a 1-2 second event, but when the progress completed the little screen disappeared.????

With Canon's help, I discovered the problem:

When the download program executes, it downloads 5 pdf files into a directory in my computer's "download" directory, 5 pdf files. Thus, one should look for the directory, named,

pml_-win-mx920-1_3-en

which contains 5 pdf files, for different printer functions, e.g., printing, faxing, etc.
