My MX892 tells me there is no paper in the feeder, when there is paper in the feeder. Fix??

i have a Canon copier I just purchased last month. it has been operating just fine until today. Today it is telling me

there is no paper in the paper feeder when paper is loaded in the feeder. Help??

Hi grammiegeri!

I first want to apologize that your PIXMA MX892 is showing that there is no paper feed in the feeder. The best thing to do when this occurs is to remove the paper from the feed tray and check it for any obstructions. I also recommend checking inside of the printer for obstructions as well. If none are found, unfortunately, this indicates that the printer will require service options. Should this be the case, please click the following link to contact us and obtain your service options. Remember to tell the e-mail or phone technician that you were referred by the Canon forums for service.
