I would like to turn on my new mx 892 printer on from another computer on my home network, print, and then turn printer off.

is this possible ? win8 pixma mx892 remote computer is HP laptop w/win 7 Thanks Roger T

Hi otho10,

The MX892 does not support remotely powering the printer off and on. My best recommendation would be to leave the printer on at all times and let it enter power save mode. It uses very little power in this mode, and this way the printer will be ready to use when you need it.
