MX922 not feeding from adf top tray

I'm using a fairly new MX922 and have never tried using the top tray (adf feed). It doesn't recognize that I have papers to copy from that area. What am I doing wrong? The Canon videos are no good because they don't address this issue. Is there an actual how to instructions for this?

Actually found it myself at this site: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART142377 My guides were not properly set as I had never used this feature! 🙂

Hi Sweetp59!

Since this is the first time you're using the Auto Document Feeder (ADF), you might want to make sure there's no debris in there by accident. Take a look at THIS article that shows how to double-check.

Thanks! After hours of viewing videos I found the problem. By default the paper guides were set really close. Once I saw that then it was a breeze! Already printed 6 pages via the adf! 🙂
