    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try the following adjustment to see if we can resolve this issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Click Start and open the Control Panel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Once open, open Devices and Printers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Right-click on the MX920 and choose 'Scan Properties'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Go to the Events tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Choose the appropriate event, then select the desired program to open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; Click OK when finished.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once this has been done, try scanning from the operator panel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you continue to have difficulties, find more help at &lt;A href="http://Canon.us/ContactLI" target="_blank"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MX922 Scan to PDF problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I having been searching the forums and haven't found the problem (inconvenience) that I am trying to fix.&amp;nbsp; I can scan to PDF if I use the IJ Scan Utility, but if I try to scan using the buttons on the printer control panel, the panel's display states that it is warming up and then a window labeled "Canon MX920 Series - Scan to PC" pops up on my computer and offers me two choices for programs that I&amp;nbsp;use&amp;nbsp;for a film scanner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am running Windows 7, 64-bit and the MX922 is connected by a USB.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't want to have to load another application when I want to scan.&amp;nbsp; I would like to hit the button and have the file on my computer.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RK&lt;/P&gt;</description>
