Canon Pixma 6250 not printing magenta while test page is perfect

SOLVED - Feel very stupid - the plastic strip was still at the top of the carttridge. Still wondering why the test page was printing fine though ...

Hi,
My Canon Pixma MG 6250 is printing without magenta, though there is enough ink available. Did 4 deep cleanings and test page turns out perfect every time. How come it can use magenta on test page but not in regular prints? What is the problem?
