my printer wont scan

Hi i have a mg 2522 printer

it will print but won't scsan what can i do about it?

Hello.

Scans can be made using our IJ Scan Utility program.

Open the IJ Scan Utility from your Desktop or the Canon Utilities listing of the Start Menu (Windows) or Applications folder (Mac).

Once there, click Photo or Document to perform a scan. Additional options can be specified in the Settings menu of the program.
