After the cartridges get about half used, I start getting low ink messages even thro there is still a lot of ink left. I have tried various brands of cartridges, including Caron, with the same result. How do I get full use out of these cartridges?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi wshuebner,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I really can't speak to the performance of non-Canon ink cartridges, but the PGI-255XXL will start showing low ink primarily as notice that it will need to be replaced.&amp;nbsp; You can press the red Stop button to clear the error and continue printing until the ink runs completely out.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?
