topic MP560 Error Message 5,202,63 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Hi, all.

Received this error message out of the blue today. I was attempting to scan a document.

Action taken so far was to reboot both laptop and printer. Then I tried to reinstall the printer drivers, having downloaded them freshly from the Canon site. The installation went fine until it attempted to connect wirelessly to the printer. It said that it couldn't find the printer.

However, when I asked the laptop to print out an email - still via wifi - the connection was made normally and as usual.

So what does this code mean? And is there anything I can do to put things right?

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
