Finding model number by serial number

My pixma doesn't have a model number ANYWHERE - very frustrating. (Front, tray door, bottom, back, inside all checked...lots of info but no model number). The first four letters of the serial number are LFGA. Can you tell me what model this is so I can upload the correct drivers and use my printer on my new computer?

Never mind, despite info given me by Canon elsewhere, I see that K10356 is indeed a model number. Thank you.

Cannot find driver for this model on the Canon support page anywhere...I do not want to pick up the Malware and viruses by loading software from an unofficial site. Please direct me to the driver. Frustrating.

Hi, Bob!

If your printer's serial number begins with "LFG," that corresponds to the PIXMA MP499. That model number should appear somewhere on the printer's casing, and you'll find all the necessary drivers and apps for it HERE.

The MP250 has a serial that starts with JVM.

I have the ts3100 printer and when I went register it i got an ERROR MESSAGE - Invalid Serial Number. The The serial number is KLXH[xxxxx]. Wen I went to file my support survey, it stated there is an email address for support; which I cannot find anywhere on this site.

Hi! The serial number you mentioned corresponds to the US-model PIXMA TS3122. Please make sure you're entering that model number instead of the "TS3100" name for the family of printers it belongs to.

We're unable to find the "JJUA" letter combination in our serial number listings. To find your Canon printer's model number, it should be displayed prominently on the top and/or front of the unit. Our model numbers typically begin with 2 or 3 letters (such as TS, TR, MX, MG, MB, MF, MP, LBP, iP, or iX) followed by up to 4 numbers.
