Pixma MX922 Fax Problem

Hello, I have a Pixma MX922 that works perfectly except for the fax function. I can receive fax's with no problem, but when I try to send a fax, I get the dail tone, I hear the numbers being dialed over the dail tone and the dail tone is constant and nothing happens. I have also tried the manual way by using the hook button with the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Because you are able to receive faxes, we know that the phone cord is connected correctly to your PIXMA MX922.

To send faxes from your PIXMA MX922, please follow the steps outlined in the On Line Manual:

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, that did not correct the problem. The machine is still trying to dial over the dial tone.
