    <description>&lt;P&gt;Here is what I did:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;press on/off button and unplug the power cable (keep button pressed down).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wait a few seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Switch on the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;br&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Stefan&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I could use some help solving the following for my Canon Pixma MG5550 printer:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Printer is completely dead, no reaction to any button whatsoever&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Orange alarm light is on (contnuously)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Un- and replug power --&amp;gt; no effect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Hard reset, combination of 2 sec Off-button, On-button, 5x Off --&amp;gt; no effect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Unplug power and press On-button for a minute --&amp;gt; no effect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope someone has a great idea!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
