    <description>&lt;P&gt;Using the Canon multifunction printer as scanner has always been awkward on Mac, but now it just won't work at all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MP Navigator EX quits every time it opens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canon IJ Scan Utility2.app says:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; - Scanner is turned off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; - USB cable is disconnected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Code: 15, 156, 0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My MG6220 is turned on, and connected to the iMac directly, without a USB hub. The printer prints fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an iMac running OS 10.13.6.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
