    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi SONYMACIAC,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To attempt to resolve this error, please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;1.&amp;nbsp; Please unplug the power cord from your PIXMA MG3620 and leave it off for approximately 10 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;2.&amp;nbsp; After 10 minutes, please reconnect the power cord and turn your PIXMA MG3620 on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does the 5100 error persist?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If so, cleaning the encoder/timing strip should clear this error.&amp;nbsp; To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART164472" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART164472&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the error persists,&amp;nbsp;please contact our support group using the following link:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://Canon.us/ContactLI" target="_blank"&gt;http://Canon.us/ContactLI&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
