    <description>&lt;P&gt;I frequently have the problem that my printer will show it is in Offline status when it is turned on. I can diagnose and get get the problem solved but I'd like to solve the problem permanently.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop running Windows 7 Home Edition and have the printer connected via USB cable.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any help is greatly appeciated.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi COgreywolf,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would recommend removing the printer driver from the computer. Once the driver is removed, please restart your computer and unplug the usb cord from the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When the computer restarts, please click &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mg-series/pixma-mg2522/pixma-mg2522#drivers_downloads_tab" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt; to open the printers support page and download the MG2522/MG2525 MP Drivers Ver.1.02. During the install you will be asked to connect the usb cord.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the printer is reinstalled, please try to print again to see if the offline message comes back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this answer your question?
