TS8150 Printer: Any way of getting it to switch on from the laptop?

Just installed my new TS8150 printer, and it seems fine. However, unlike my previous printer (MG7150), it looks like it won't switch itself on when I send someting to print. It tells me to manually go and turn it on. I know we're all supposed to get more exercise and it's hardly arduous, but if it's switched off, is there any way of getting it to switch itself on when I send something from my laptop?
