    <description>&lt;P&gt;My amd lenovo laptop with windows 10 will not complete the printer installation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I follow the instructions for usb installation, it downloads the latest version, approve the EULA, and connect the printer when prompted..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It hangs up on the screen that says "printer detected please wait" and then 5 minutes later it says "printer not detected &amp;amp; please connect"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I found a workaround for this problem in another discussion: abandon the cannon installation procedure, remove the device if one is shown, restart the laptop, and use the native Windows device installer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in my case, I found that the Canon software had created programs that were not apparent before.</description>
