    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Mary01,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the error wont clear after the reset, the printer will need to be replaced because repair service is no longer offered on this model printer. I would like to let you know that you do qualify for the Canon Upgrade program.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.&amp;nbsp;This&amp;nbsp;program allows you&amp;nbsp;the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price.       <title>paper jam error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The screen on my PIXMA MX512 printer indicates there is a paper jam. Rear cover. There is no paper jam. I have tried turning off/unplugging the machine but I continue to receive this message and cannot print. How can I reset the printer--or what do I need to do to get beyond this message? Thank you for your help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
