I think I need a new printer head for Pixma MX700. Printer not printing, cleaned printer head but still not printing.

I'm in the same boat with my MX700 that I have had for 10 years now and all of my colors have decided to print out of allignment so no more pictures. Black is fine. A new print head is $26.00 on Ebay or Amazon. Easy to install.Still trying to decide if I want to chance a new head. Please let me know if you installed a new head and if it fixed your problem.
