Please respond with the information below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;How long is the USB cable that's going from the printer to the computer?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What version of Windows are you running on your computer?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When scanning are you using the operation panel of the printer or the IJ Scan Utility on the computer screen?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;With the IJ Scan Utility program open what does it say next to Product?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What type of security or anti-virus are you running on your computer?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have MX452 Printer.&amp;nbsp; It's connected to laptop through usb cable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IJ Network Scanner Selector Ex is disabled so I do not scan over the network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Everything works fine.BUT&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It starts scanning documents fine but halfway through a large document scan it says:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Can not communicate with scanner for these reasons:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Scanner is turned off&amp;nbsp; (it's not)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It is disconnected from LAN&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; (How do I know)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Signal strenth is poor&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(I'm not using wireless network)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Network connection prohibited by security software&amp;nbsp; (NO - why does this happen in mddle of scan job)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Different scanner on networkis selected.&amp;nbsp; (this only scanner)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Code is 2.157.50&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canon does not support MX452 printer anymore even though this code is relevant to other printers and canon says call customer support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions on troubleshooting.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
