    <description>&lt;P&gt;Last week I purchased my Canon PIXMA TR7520 printer.&amp;nbsp; I followed the directions and connected it to my laptop, but when I go to scan a document, it only scans maybe 20% of the time, probably less.&amp;nbsp; The rest of the time it gives me the following message:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Scanner is turned off&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. If using Wired LAN connection) it is disconnected from Wired LAN&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. (If using wireless LAN connection) Signal strength is poor due to obstructions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Network connections is prohibited by security software&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Different scanner on the network is selected&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Scanner is not turned off; 2. I am not using a Wired LAN; 3. There are no obstructions.&amp;nbsp; My laptop is sitting on the desk right next to the printer; 4. I don't know if I have any security software and if I do, how do I find it?; 5. This is the only scanner I have.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It shows me Code: 2, 157, 50&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd very much appreciate it if anyone can help me with this problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
