Photo doesn't scan

I am trying to scan a 8 1/2 X 11 photo on my Canon TR8520, but it only scans a 5x6 area. The entire picture will scan if I select document, but I need it saved as a Jpeg.

Hoe do I get the whole photo as a jpeg?

So we can best assist you, please let us know if you are scanning directly from the printer or using the scanning software on the printer. Also please let us know what version of Windows or Macintosh is installed on your computer.

I have scanned directly from the printer and from the computer. I am running Windows 10.

Please click HERE and follow the steps to scan and save a photo using IJ Scan Utility.

Does it make a full scan?
