Hi All,

I am experiencing a weird problem with my printer. When its printing it is great up to the last inch of the page, when the paper appears to but the head is still printing. This gives it a blurred look and smudged as well as extra ink over the page. it didn't do this to begin with so I know it is something new.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sincy,

Based on your description of the issue, it would appear as though the encoder/timing strip in your PIXMA MG5750 is dirty or smudged and would need to be cleaned. To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article available from Canon's web site:

After cleaning, please attempt to print again.
