      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi blippin226,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That error can appear when a firewall or security feature on your device is blocking communication to the scanner driver. Since you have reinstalled the printer/scanner driver and the error still appears, I recommend getting in contact with Microsoft and having them check your security settings on the laptop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this answer your question?
