Pixma MG2522 Printer suddenly can't feed paper

I have used my printer a total of less than 5 times and it suddenly cannot feed paper. It flashes 3 times which means paper jam, but I have followed the directions to clean the paper roller, as well as feed paper through and it pulls it down halfway and then stops and just wastes ink inside the printer. I also unplugged it and then plugged it back in and turned it upside down and gently shook it... nothing is working.
