    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings Yasantra,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I strongly suggest that you not rely on automaitc update, or using wireless to upgrade the F/W on your printer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These methods can introduce multiple points of failure &amp;nbsp;and leave your device in a error, corrupt or unstable condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Instead use the FW update utility and run from a PC or Mac connected directly to your network via ethernet.&amp;nbsp; Printer should be connected via ethernet as well.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;This will ensure the highest possiblity for success.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mg_series/pixma-mg7753.html?type=firmware%20  " target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Pixima 7753 FW Update&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MG7753 Failed firmware update and now just a black screen</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Got the message from my printer that a firmware update was available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;clicked on download, after a while got the message download failed, please press the &amp;lt;ON&amp;gt; button&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no response&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;checking this forum showed 2 silimar threads for different moddels MG7720/50, where Unplugging the power supply resolved the issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;first attempt got me back to downloading, but resulted in the same message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;seccond attempt took the process forward one step and "resolved the issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canon, Please provide a better upgrade process, because unplugging it from the grid in order to finish the upgrade cannot be the solution!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For all other users, you can try the same approach, in the end it has worked, but according to canon it may break your printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kind Regards Y.Sanstra&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
