how do i find model number etc of printer from desktop software? info needed to register printer with Canon. printer access unavailable.

Hi edjedj,

The model of your printer will either be listed on the front or top of the printer depending on the model. The model will start letters( MX, MB , MG, TS, TR) and end with numbers.

not on the printer. can i find the answer within the Canon provided software. by example, it is usually found in the "Help"

dropdown when "About xxxxxx" is clicked.
