      <description>Pixma MX490. When I scan a document, it will print a data version of pdf or jpg. I chose pdf for copy and paste. No text, no nothing will highlight. NO COPY AND PASTE option. Where can I download data format for Word or txt document printout?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You need to use scaning software that has OCR. (Optical Character Recognition) The printer by itself cannot do that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>What is the difference between pdf and jpg if neither of them has copy and paste option? The pdf might just as well be a jpg. They are both just an image and not any kind of text document</description>
