topic MX882 scan to a folder. in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Canon MX882 - Windows 10 running Office 2019 64-bit. Everything works fine but in MP Navigator EX (latest version installed) the customer is unable to drag a scan directly into an Outlook 2019 email. If you drag it to the desktop, then to the email it works fine. Any possible workaround? Or is it possible to scan directly to a folder (which it does) and have the software open that folder instead of MP Navigator EX. Another employee has a MX922 and doesn't have this issue. I realize the MX882 requires MP Navigator EX to scan to a PC.

Hi btc909,

Putting MP Navigator into One-Click Mode would resolve both of your issues. It has an icon for attaching scans to emails and an icon for saving scans to a specified folder. Click HERE for illustrations and information on how to put the MP Navigator into One-Click mode. Once you open the article you may need to scroll down to the middle of the article for the information you need.
