Hi everyone,

I recently bought a USB cable to connect my laptop to my printer so that I can scan documents while offline.

I initially tried scanning a document to my laptop by using the menu options on the printer. Unfortunately, nothing happened. After installing the driver for my printer, I was able to successfully scan a document by using the "Canon Quick Menu" that has been installed on my laptop. The scan resulted in a JPG image, however, this is not the result I want.

This is an issue for me because:

I would like to use the menu on my printer rather than the "Canon Quick Menu" on my laptop.

I would like to import multi-page PDFs, not JPGs.

Any help troubleshooting my issue is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
