      <title>PIXMA MG2550S gets error message when trying to scan</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My Canon printer shows error "Code: 5,156,69" when trying to scan from my computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In short, it says cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&amp;nbsp; Scanner is turned off or USB cable is disconntected.&amp;nbsp; However, the unit prints fine, and also allows copies to be made.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Am using Windows 8.1&lt;/P&gt;</description>
