Pixma TS8300 series: How change destination folder of scans?

I have a Pixma TS8300 series printer. The factory default sends scans to the Pictures on my Mac Air. How can I change this default to Desktop?

If you use the IJ Scan Utility Lite program for scanning, you can adjust options such as the default save location. This can be changed in the "Settings" menu of the program.
